Over 30 Million more People will be added to the patient pool. Many who never had any kind of care and they will become new Patients. Go ahead with your medical education and you will do very well.
I am a Medical Professional and have been around long enough to remember the many times Doctors complained about future income and I can report that they are doing better than ever.
Do not let a group of nitwits derail you.

It just got a lot easier to get into medical school.
I am a doctor, my husband is a doctor, and most of our friends are doctors. We have all trained our children to be the best, the smartest, and to work very, very hard (like we do). However, everyone I know is telling their kid not to go into med school.
So, what happens when the smartest (all of us in my family have IQs higher than Obama’s btw) don’t want to go into medicine anymore? It suddenly gets much easier to become a doc!
